Steve departs Anywise CEO role in mutual agreement to

pursue new challenges as company enters next phase

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia – April 24, 2025

Anywise today announced that Steve Kouloumendas will be concluding his tenure as Chief Executive Officer. This transition represents a mutual decision, aligning with both Steve’s desire to pursue new personal challenges and the company’s strategic progression into its next phase of growth and development. Reflecting on his departure, Steve expressed his appreciation for his time at Anywise and his excitement for the future.

Steve joined Anywise as employee number three, initially serving as a senior consultant and playing a crucial role in the delivery of engineering and project management services for the LAND155 bridging acquisition contract — one of the company’s earliest and most strategically significant programs. Over his tenure, Steve served in all leadership positions, including PM, Principal, General Manager, and ultimately CEO, becoming a defining figure in shaping the company into what it is today. He successfully spearheaded numerous key initiatives and provided steadfast guidance to Anywise through recent market challenges.

Under his leadership, Anywise achieved significant milestones, including:

● Transitioning from a consulting-focused business to a technology-driven company, championing product development while upholding its core values.

● Driving a comprehensive agile and digital transformation, embedding delivery excellence, flexible work practices, and cloud-based systems to strategically position the business for future growth.

● Securing and successfully negotiating the company’s first and second complex ASDEFCON acquisition contracts, which has laid the foundations for the company to deliver against these and future complex engagements within the defence sector.

● Establishing the cultural and strategic foundations for a distributed and empowered leadership model that will continue to guide the company's future.

● Building strong and trusted relationships with clients across the defence and government sectors, earning him high regard.

● Demonstrating versatility by undertaking a wide range of roles to support delivery, product strategy, commercial negotiations, and team development as needed throughout his impressive tenure.

Anywise extends its sincere gratitude and best wishes to Steve for his exceptional service and significant contributions. The company is pleased to announce that Steve will continue to collaborate with Anywise by developing global sales opportunities for its technology solutions and will serve as a valued expert as the company expands into the international market.

Steve’s resilience, strategic clarity, and unwavering commitment to people-first principles have profoundly impacted Anywise. His legacy will endure through the systems he helped implement, the strong relationships he fostered, and the future-ready foundation he helped establish.

Anywise thanks Steve for his dedicated service, significant contributions, and steadfast care,

wishing him every success in his future endeavours.
