What VICWORX Represents
VICWORX is not another government-funded industry body with a glossy brochure and a vague mission. It is a practical collaboration designed to solve a specific problem: Victorian manufacturers have the capability to contribute to advanced defence and government programs, but lack the pathways to demonstrate that capability and access prime opportunities.
The initiative connects manufacturers with the technology partners, research institutions, and defence primes that can help them move up the value chain. Anywise is participating because we see a direct alignment between what VICWORX is trying to achieve and our own mission: sovereign, Australian-developed technology that delivers genuine operational value.

The Role of Technology in Manufacturing Transformation
Advanced manufacturing transformation is not just about new equipment or processes. It requires new information infrastructure. The manufacturers that will thrive in the next decade are those that can instrument their operations, reason over their data, and make decisions at the pace of modern supply chains.
This is where Anywise's engineering intelligence platforms, particularly ENG|AIDE and FABHUMS, have direct relevance. We are working with VICWORX participants to explore how intelligence technology can accelerate their operational transformation and create the data-driven manufacturing environments that defence prime contractors and government customers increasingly require.
- Operational data infrastructure as a competitive differentiator
- Intelligence platforms that connect manufacturing data to decisions
- Certification-ready health and usage monitoring for complex components
- Engineering risk management that satisfies defence prime requirements
What Comes Next
The lift-off metaphor is apt. VICWORX is at the point where the pre-launch preparations are complete and the real work begins. Program engagement is deepening, industry connections are forming, and the pathways between Victorian capability and national defence programs are becoming tangible.
We'll be sharing more about our involvement in VICWORX and the outcomes we're working toward. For manufacturers interested in understanding how intelligence technology can support their own capability transformation, we're happy to talk.
