SENTIA

Assured decision support, from sensor to commander. From commander’s intent to decision in six stages. Every step can be traced, and a human sets how much the system does on its own.

Framework

There is more data than any staff can read.

Sensors, reports and systems now produce more than a headquarters can process in time. AI can sift and compare at scale, testing observations against doctrine and history in seconds. But speed only helps if you can trust the answer, and you can only trust what you can trace.

SENTIA is a framework.

SENTIA divides the path from data to decision into six stages and defines what each must do. Anywise products are built to perform those stages. They can be delivered as a system-of-systems that enacts the whole framework. Or they can be delivered fully integrated with systems already in service to resolve where you have a gap.

You keep what works, add only what you need, and decide where cost and risk sit. The IP stays inside Australia’s defence industrial base.

SENTIA integrates with the systems you already use, with Anywise technology filling the gaps.

Sensor readings arrive faster than anyone can read them.Data from every source is structured once, then arranged to answer the question the task is asking.
A recommendation arrives without its evidence. Each recommendation shows its source, its reasoning and how confident the system is.

The six stages

  1. Sense

Collection starts with the commander’s intent. Sensors cover structural, vision, audio and spectral inputs across platforms and domains.

  2. Enrich

Unstructured inputs are cleaned, checked and turned into records a machine can read. Each record keeps its source and context.

    WISDOM
  3. Nexus

Records are linked across sources, and organised in a queryable model.

    WISDOM
  4. Think

Domain-specialised AI tests what is observed against doctrine, history and the current situation.

  5. Inform

Options and the reasoning behind them, in the form the task calls for, from a single alert to a full decision brief.

  6. Assure

Designed so that any output can be traced back to its source. The record shows what was changed along the way, how confident the system is, and where people and AI each made the call.

The commander decides the level of automation.

The setting is chosen per task and changes as complexity, scale, resources and risk change.

Automated

The system acts. A person checks a sample of its work.

Human-on-the-loop

The system proposes and acts. A person approves key outputs and handles exceptions.

Human-in-the-loop

A person directs and decides. The system assists.

Routine work can run automated. A novel or high-stakes call goes back to a person.

Where a Defence program puts it to work.

Tactical

Contact reports, terrain and platform condition are linked, so the headquarters can query them together across land, sea, air and spectrum.

Doctrinal

Observations are tested against doctrine, threat history and precedent, so each recommendation arrives with its reference.

Process and sustainment

Estimates, staff work and readiness reporting run on data Defence already holds. FABHUMS already does this for bridge health in ADF use, recording the audit trail in real time.
