Innovation.
Some problems don't have a product yet.
Innovation at Anywise is hands-on. We run our own research and development on the problems others treat as too hard: denied networks, no power, and data no one can act on in time. We work them out in the lab, prove them against the real environment, then keep developing until they hold up in operators' hands.
The problem
The hardest requirements are the ones nobody has productised.
Every organisation we work with has a short list of problems that never make it into a procurement, because no vendor offers an answer and nobody wants to fund the first attempt. They stay on the list for years.
The gap is rarely a research gap. Plenty of promising work exists at low technology readiness. What is missing is anyone willing to carry it through the unglamorous middle, where an idea has to survive the actual environment and the people who will use it.

The requirement is real and the market answer does not exist, so the problem is deferred rather than solved.

Demonstrators that work in a lab and never survive contact with dust, heat, jamming or an operator in a hurry.

What we do
Prove the difficult part first, then keep going.
We fund and run our own R&D, and we work the same way on client problems. The sequence matters: attack the part most likely to fail early, test against the real environment rather than a proxy, and keep developing until it holds up where it will actually be used.
Attack the hard part
We go at whatever is most likely to kill the idea first, so a bad concept fails cheaply instead of expensively.
Test against the real thing
Real environments, real degradation, real users. A demonstrator that only works in the lab has not been tested.
Harden and field
We carry the work through the middle TRLs that most research never crosses, until it is something people can rely on.
Keep it sovereign
Designed and built in Australia, so the capability can be inspected, modified and sustained here.
